Katherine Anne Sicotte
We announce with heavy hearts the passing of Katherine Anne Sicotte on December 28, 2023 at the age of 63.
She will be missed by her husband of 35 years Gerald Faulder, as well as her children Theresa, Kate, Anthony and their partners, siblings Rollie (Susie), Marie, Larry (Maureen), and Claire, along with her many friends and family members.
She was predeceased by her parents Alfred and Ellen Sicotte and her brothers Ralph and Paul.
Kathy was born in Edmonton on July 31, 1960. She graduated in 1984 from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. She spent much of her adult life creating welded steel sculptures while raising her children. Her passion for art led her to return to the University of Alberta where she received her Master of Fine Arts in 2005.
Kathy was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease in 2017. She enjoyed travelling and spending time with her husband and family until her peaceful passing at Lifestyles Options Whitemud, where she received outstanding and compassionate care in the final years of her life. We will miss Kathy dearly, but we are comforted to know that she is free from the disease which took so much from her. She was a warm, loving, and gentle soul, and we will always carry her memory in our hearts.
A celebration of Katherine's life will take place at a later date. Condolences and wishes may be left at trinityfuneralhome.ca.
