It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Jose Felipe announce his passing on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, in Edmonton, Alberta at the age of 95 years.

Jose will be lovingly remembered by Fatima, his wife of 47 years, his three daughters; Sonia (Phuong), Zita (Carlos) and Sandra (Christian). Jose will also be fondly remembered and missed by his six grandchildren; Isabella, Tai, Ellexia, Ava, Cristina and Vera along with his three great-grandchildren Tiago, Marta and Matilde as well as numerous extended family members.

Jose was predeceased by his mother Iria da Anunciação, and sister Conceicao.

The family would like to thank the staff at 6 West Robbins Pavilion and unit 42 at the Royal Alexandra Hospital for their kindness and compassion for Jose and his family.

The family would also like to express their sincere gratitude to Dr. Peng for her exceptional care and unwavering compassion. The family will be forever grateful for her immeasurable efforts.
