John Lamont (J.L) Wesson
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of John Lamont (J.L.) Wesson of Edmonton on October 19th, 2015. With spirit and surrounded by love, J.L. passed away after a short battle with cancer. John will be missed by his family, Wife, Sheila; Daughter, Cally (Anselmo); Grandson, Levon; Brother, William (Sherry); Sister, Laurie (Peter); Favourite Doggie, Shooter; Nieces; Nephews, and many friends. We will all miss his wit, gentle heart, and saxophone.
We ask that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Mustard Seed to help reduce poverty and homelessness in Edmonton.

J.L. And my Dad were very good friends for so many years. I have many found memories of our families together camping, hanging out and enjoying life together. J.L. Was a kind soul and I remember his smile like it was yesterday. Heaven has surely gained another angel. God bless

I have not seen John for many years but remember his kind and gentle demeanor from the good old days in the music life in Edmonton. The Forum, the Ballroom, etc. Condolences to his family and friends

I heard this sad news when I asked Ron if he’d heard from John, Although it’s been many years since seeing you (Cally was probably 4ish) …over those years I’ve thought of you often.
