John Hesson
It is with heavy hearts we announce that our beloved father, John Hesson, passed away peacefully on April 24, 2019 at the age of 88 in Edmonton, Alberta.
He was predeceased by his wife Louise and sister Sophie. He will be dearly missed and forever remembered by his children Karen, Jeff and David (Laurie), his brother Mike, and numerous nieces and nephews.
John loved country and western music, old cowboy movies, playing cards, long road trips to visit family, fishing and horseback riding. As one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, John loved going in the ministry and shared his hope with many people.
The family wishes to thank the dedicated staff at Rehab and Retreat Senior Care Specialists (Chelsea’s place), the CHOICE Program (Norwood), Rosedale Villa, and Benevolence Care Centre for their thoughtful care and support of John these past few years.
Respecting John’s wishes, no formal services will be held following cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
We are so very sorry for your loss. We fondly remember many times spent with your Dad in the ministry. He really loved his God Jehovah and the opportunity to talk to others about the future blessings of God’s Kingdom. We will miss your Dad and look forward to seeing him again.
