On February 24, 2011 John Bain Martin of Sherwood Park lost his battle with cancer at the age of 74 years.

John is survived by his loving wife Mary, three daughters: Twyla, Nicole and Tracy as well as 5 grandchildren and his sisters Marion and Rosina.
