Jean Debolt (nee Paul)
It is with sadness but gratitude for a long life well lived that Jean’s family shares the news of her passing at the age of 98.
Jean was a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to many. She loved her sports - participating in them and watching them on TV! She was a loyal, long-time fan of the Oilers and Eskimos! She had to quit golfing at 88, 5-pin bowling at 90, lawn bowling at 93 and driving at 95. Before quitting golf, she was awarded the Hole in One Trophy at the age of 64! She was a volunteer beginning in her 20s and continuing on into her early 90s.
She was pre-deceased by her husband Jack (1995), son-in-law Allan Chappell (2016) and sisters Kaye and Muriel.
Left to celebrate her life are her daughter Bonnie, son Bob, daughter-in-law Iris, grandchildren Aaron, Sharolyn, Josh, Nicole and Andrea, great-grandson Drake and many nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held early in July. For those wishing to be on the notification list for her celebration, please send an email to Celebrationforjean2022@gmail.com.
