Ida May Wilbern

Ida May Wilbern of Camrose, Alberta passed away November 21, 2024 at the age of 97.

She was born in Claresholm, Alberta on May 18, 1927. Her father was Ole Olson and her mother’s name was Lillian Olson. Ida moved at an early age with her husband George Edward Wilbern to the Yukon territory where she worked for a time as a Secretary for the Yukon Government.

Upon George retiring, they moved into an Airstream travel trailer and spent years travelling in Canada and the United States before finally buying a home in Camrose.

Ida was predeceased by her daughter Phyllis Lorraine Taje, husband George Edward Wilbern, companion John Bauer, and good friend Cliff Lassison.

Ida Wilbern is survived by sons Ken and Bob (Helen) and daughter Patty (Jim).
