Harry “Tom” John Alley Brick

Harry “Tom” Brick passed away peacefully on October 3, 2023 surrounded by his loving family.

Harry was born in McLennan, AB in 1948, they moved to Whitecourt in 1962, they then moved to Blue Ridge. Harry worked in saw mills, lumber camps, and Fort McMurray driving heavy equipment. Harry moved to Edmonton in 1971. He worked as a concrete finisher for 40 years. After he retired, he did security work at Bonnie’s job. Through the years, he made many good friends that he made a point of keeping in touch with. He met Bonnie in 1983, they had two children and were blessed with three grandchildren, which he adored and loved so much. All the neighbours on the street knew him, he would always stop to talk to them. He kept the whole street clean, shoveling, raking, etc. He was even on the news.

Harry is remembered by his wife, Bonnie; children, Cory (Linda) and Shannon Todd; grandchildren, Mariah, Christopher, and Harry; sisters, Bridget and Bunzy; brothers, Romeo (Roxanne), Ronald, and Dean as well as numerous nieces and nephews, he loved them all.

He was predeceased by his parents, Harry and Agnes Brick; sisters, Denese, Patsy, Debbie, and Sandra and brothers, Sonny and Morgan.

A wake is to be held on Friday, October 13, 2023 from 5:00 pm to 12:00 am. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at 2:00 pm at the Balwin Hall (12904 74 St. NW, Edmonton) with Fr. Jim officiating and a reception to follow. Harry’s urn will be interred in the spring of 2024.
