Gordon Melvin Fielhaber

It is with great sadness and much love that we announce the passing of Gordon at 89 years of age on July 28th 2022. Gordon joins his beloved wife of 50 years, Audrey Fielhaber(nee Kincart) who recently passed on May 22nd 2021.

He is lovingly remembered by his loyal brother Bob( Faye) Fielhaber, sister in law Ethel Fielhaber, along with numerous nieces, nephews and their families.

Gordon treasured connecting with family, watching sports and travelling. Gordon and Audrey enjoyed cross-Canada trips as well as adventures to Japan, Hawaii, Mexico, and the USA, where they visited all but two of the fifty states.

Known to many as Uncle Gord, he leaves a legacy of love towards his family, friends and faith. He touched lives beyond the immediate family with his selfless lifestyle and unwavering faith in the Lord. He will always be the definition of a true “gentle-man” and our families’ great loyal protector.

Gordon was predeceased by his brother Walter and Arthur(Mae) Fielhaber, sister Frieda (Norman) Goertz, Niece Patricia Goertz and Nephew Tim Goertz, brothers-in-law  Les (Alma) and Glen (Mae) Kincart, and sister-in law Eileen (Jim) Brand.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects to Gordon and Audrey at a joint Memorial Service Tuesday, August 9th, 2022 at 1 p.m. held at Faith Community Church 10405-142st (T5N 2P3) Edmonton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gordon’s honour to Faith Community Church or the charity of your choice.
