Gil José Viveiros
Gil José Viveiros, age 90, of Edmonton, AB passed away peacefully on December 24, 2023 after a long and well lived life. He is predeceased by his parents, Manuel and Irene, brother Zé Luis, and sister Lucia and is survived by his loving wife, Silvina; daughters, Filomena (Vern) and Sonia (Viriato); grandchildren, Kristianne, Melissa (Michael), Kristopher (Jacqueline) and Mitchell (Alexandra); great-grandchildren, Aricella, Armando, Miguel, Claire, Amália, Caleb and Ária as well as sisters Alda and Luisa and brother Duarte (Manuela).
Gil was born and raised in Ponta Delgada, São Miguel Aҫores, Portugal and immigrated to Canada in 1960. He loved spending time with his family, travelling, watching soccer and attending church regularly. He will be fondly remembered and sorely missed.
Our family is grateful to know that Gil is finally at Peace.
