Fred Yurkowski

It is with great sadness that the family of Fred Yurkowski announces his passing at the age of 90. Fred was born in Petersen, Saskatchewan on August 13, 1930 and passed away in Edmonton, Alberta on May 30, 2021.

Fred was predeceased by both of his parents and 7 brothers and sisters. Fred will be lovingly remembered by his wife Priscilla, daughters Diane Smith, Miriam (Piet) Woestenburg, and his son Frederick (Sandi) Yurkowski. Fred is also survived by 6 granddaughters, 8 great-grandchildren, 1 brother and 1 sister.

A family service officiated by Deacon Paul Croteau is being held at Trinity Funeral Home on June 22, 2021. Afterwards Fred will be laid to rest at Mount Pleasant Cemetary in Edmonton, Alberta.
