Fernando Solano
With sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved father and grandpa on December 31, 2022, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Above everything, Dad loved his family. His legacy will live on thru his children and grandchildren. He will be forever treasured by the love of his life of 52 years wife, Sarah. Daughters; Diana (Glen); Lilliana (Drew); son, Mauricio (Suzanne); five grandchildren: Caden, Dexter, Colten, Danica and Marcus, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He is survived by his sisters; Olga (Victor); Maria (Douglas); Gina; brother; Hugo (Claudia).
Dad was an exceptionally caring and generous man to all that knew him. Immigrating to Canada from Colombia, he owned and successfully operated Alberta Drive Line for over 35 years. Dad was the happiest, spending time at the lake with his family and friends. Dad, you touched the lives of so many; we love you, and you will be forever in our hearts.
A celebration of his life will be held later this summer at Nakamun Lake.
To the Solano family,
Lo siento mucho. Much love to you all.

We are truly blessed to have spent time with your Dad and family over the years as Lilliana joined the Chalifoux Family. I loved the dancing and bean bag games. We truly enjoyed the company shared. Much love to you all!
