It is with great sadness that our family announces the sudden passing of Elisha Helen Laura McLaughlin.
Elisha passed away peacefully surrounded by her husband, children, parents and brother.
She will be dearly missed by her husband Dallas, son Leo, daughter Ellen, parents Sheena and Eli, brother Matthew, niece Allix , nephew Evan, as well as numerous other family members and friends in Newfoundland and Alberta.
Elisha’s family would like to send a very special thank you to everyone who has been a help during this most difficult time.

I will love you until I take my last breath on earth and beyond. I will cherish our last conversation, never thinking it would be our last. I only wish he had left you on earth with your beautiful children and taken me, I guess we’ll never know why but he has another beautiful angel around his throne. Mom and dad love you and that won’t ever change!
So so sorry to hear the passing of a great mom ,wife and friend i will always remember you what a great funny happy caring lady you were you were always happy and greatful for having a great husand and kids that you loved more then life it self .may your husand and kids with time find courage to get through life one day at a time and many prayers help them .i will always remebember you and always think of all the laughs we had and may the good lord help your family with prayers and the good thoughts of you every day god bless you my friend.

To. my brother Eli ,Sheena & Family I’m so sorry for the loss of your sweet girl Elisha it was such a shock to hear .we haven’t gotten you out of our minds sences this happen we would of love to been there to help you through your days ahead .but do to distance we couldn’t be there .just remember when you get down all those memories you made with her over the years just reach into your heart and pull one out .and remember to look up cause you have your own beautiful angel watching over her family.its not gonna be a easy road to take but you will get through it with time but her to precious children are gonna need there nan,pop,dad,& uncle to get them through this you have to be strong for them .we love you .

Dallas,Leo and Ellen I am very sorry for your loss. We had many late nights sitting around the fire and chatting and laughing the night away.Elisha always had a smile or was laughing and enjoyed visiting her neighbors and was willing to help you out. In your honor the first outdoor fire will be dedicated to you my friend- cheers ??
The kids will have an angel to look over them now. When you or the kids see dimes pick them up because this is Elisha’s way of telling you she’s watching and she is ok.

I am saddened to hear of Elisha’s passing. We certainly enjoyed her last visit to Newfoundland when my mom and I got to spend some quality time with her. Those memories will stay in our hearts forever more. We were close and she was a great help to both my mom and I these past few years. We will miss her phone calls and her sense of humor. We will miss her in so many ways. Just know that as you try to pick up the pieces and go forward in life, you are all in our thoughts and prayers and most importantly in our hearts. Please remember that you are not alone, we are always here for you.

It is with the greatest of sadness we learned of Elisha’s passing. Our hearts ache for all of you.
As your Northern Arm neighbours and your friends,we will cherish our memories of Elisha as a free spirited little girl and later as a teenager. The big smile of satisfaction as she rode her bicycle up our driveway on her first “ big girl” ride was infectious. That special smile was never very far away. May your hearts be comforted by all you have shared.

Sheena ,Eli ,Mathew ,Dallas and Leo and Ellen . I’m so sorry for your loss . Elisha was such a kind ,beautiful funny , caring soul. Her laugh was infectious and her smile heartwarming. I have so many wonderful memories of Elisha as she was one of my dearest friends , so many days spent together sharing fun and laughter either exploring the beach behind her house , late night sleep overs playing silly games ,listening and dancing to music in her room and lets not forget early the morning games of Dr MARIO. We always had the best times ! These are just a few of the many memories that I will now cherish in my heart forever. As you face the days ahead please find comfort in knowing that she is now your guardian angel. She will be present with you always as will the memories you hold dear in you heart .
