Elaine Marie Skinner
It is with great sadness, that we announce the passing of our Mom, Grandma, sister and friend, Elaine Skinner, on August 5, 2023 at Pilgrim's Hospice, in Edmonton, Ab.
Mom will be deeply missed by her loving family. She leaves to mourn her two daughters Denise(Kelly) Gannon, and Traci(Bill) Pengelly; her beloved grandchildren Kyle and Janelle Gannon, and Brayden Pengelly ; her brother Dwayne(Dorothy) Schuller; as well as her cherished lifelong friend of 70yrs, Frieda Kelly.
Mom was a loyal employee of Safeway for over 35 yrs. Mom will be remembered for her quick witt, her deep love for her family, her love of gardening, cooking and camping, as well as travelling with her family. She put her all into everything she did, and was a genuine example of strength and perseverance.
She leaves behind a beautiful legacy of love, strength, kindness, and generosity.
She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
She was a beautiful woman , her strength tells it all , she raised 2 beautiful girls her legacy goes on , may she rest in peace , I know she is playing cards with the best ❤️

I’m very sorry to hear of Elaine’s passing, I worked with your mom at Safeway in her last store before retiring. Elaine always spoke with love about her daughters and grandchildren! She was always very nice to me and kept in touch after her retirement. Please accept my condolences, my thoughts are with her family.
