Edward Ross Cook

It is with great sorrow that the family of Edward Cook announces his passing at the age of 63 in Edmonton, Alberta.

Ed leaves behind his children Anthony(Chantelle Larson), Andrew, Aaron, Alyssa Cook and Darren Bratrud. Life long love Christine Ray. His grandchildren Nevaeh, Noah, Brady, Mason and Willow Cook. Along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Ed will be dearly missed by his loving mother Lucille Cook (Harold Chapman), Sister Melodie Hutchcroft (Larry Otteson), brothers Louis and Neil Cook.

Ed was predeceased by his father Ross Cook and brothers Walter and Doug Cook.

Ed will be fondly remembered as a kind soul, who was a devoted father and provider. It gave him great joy and pride to be a mentor at the Boys and Girls Club. He loved football which extended to coaching his two sons Andrew and Aaron's football teams. His proudest accomplishment was being a Lineman for the CFL Grey Cup in 1997.

Ed's love for his family was unconditional. He loved spending time playing football with his sons or just hanging out with his daughter.

Ed's family welcome any friends and family who would like to pay their respects, to attend his graveside service at St. Michael cemetery 13819 82 Street NW on August 18th at 10am.

Following the Service we will have a celebration of Life at Borden Park with food and refreshments.
