Edmund (Eddie) Jorgensen
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Edmund (Eddie) Jorgensen on November 28, 2024, following a stroke.
Eddie is survived by his devoted wife, Shirley, and their family: Mary (Clyde), Doug (Pam), Dianne (Rick), Kathy (Darren), Christy (Jason), Melanie (Brian), 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Eddie also leaves behind his brothers Randy (Helen) and David, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and many dear friends.
Eddie deeply enjoyed his life as a farmer, spending his days tending to the animals, with his dog, Bear, at his side. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, exploring nature, and driving through the countryside. Above all, his greatest happiness came from his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and he took great pride in watching them grow and flourish.
Eddie’s warmth, generosity, and unwavering love for his family touched the lives of those who knew him. He will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of sharing in his life.
As per Eddie’s wishes, there will be no formal service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the University of Alberta Neurosciences ICU in his memory, where he received exceptional care in his final days.

My deepest sympathies, he was a good man. I will never forget him taking time to play football with me and my brother Brent at my grandparents place when we were kids.
