Donna Gardner
On February 16, 2019 Donna passed away with family by her side. Donna was born in Lool Lake Saskatchewan on July 26, 1937. As a young adult she moved to Edmonton where she attended college, graduated and started a job at Beaver Lumber as a secretary. Living in Edmonton Donna met her future husband Jim Gardner on a blind date which she was reluctant to go on.
That blind date turned into 57 years of marriage and three children, Brenda, John and Tracy. Donna began studying the bible with Jim’s mother Jean in the late 60’s and became a Jehovah’s Witness. She stayed voted to Jehovah throughout her life.
Over the years Donna enjoyed sewing, crafts and knitting, she was also an amazing cook.
Donna will be fondly remembered for her kind heart and hospitality. A Wife, a Mother, a Sister, a Sister-in-Law, a Granny and a Great-Gran. She wore many hats and wore them well.
