David Alan Branton
May 18, 1962 – Mar 26, 2020
It is with great sadness we announce the death of David at the young age of 57. He was selfless, kind, compassionate, loved family and travelling. He leaves behind his wife Susanne (Opgenorth) of 32 years, his brother Gordon (Dawn), sisters Janice Linden (Tim), Margaret Boisvert (Richard), his nieces Karrie, Nicole, Ashley, Chantal and nephew Justin, numerous relatives and friends.
David was predeceased by both parents Alan and Maureen.
David grew up in the Edmonton Avonmore area and was there until his marriage to Susanne in August 1987. The couple then moved to the King Edward Park area. He enjoyed working for Labatt’s for the past 12 years. David was very fortunate to travel to many countries around the globe over the years. His favorites were Australia, Greece and Italy.
David loved to spend time at Pigeon Lake where friends and family would spend time around the fire pit.
Always teasing and joking with his quirky sense of humour. He always said it was his happy place. He had many friends and was always quick to lend a helping hand. Never was one to sit still, he was always tinkering on something or starting another project.
Such a kind soul, the world was a better place with him in it. He definitely touched so many lives.
A private service will be held on Friday April 3, 2020. Condolences may be shared at Trinity Funeral
Home www.trinityfuneralhome.ca.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in David`s name to theMazankowski Alberta Heart Institute.
