It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Darleen Gale on May 30, 2018 at University of Alberta Hospital in Edmonton.
Darleen was born May 11, 1963 in St. David’s, Newfoundland. She moved to Alberta in 1982 and made Edson her home.
Darleen leaves behind the love of her life, her husband, Dale Gale. She is also survived by her mother Vernice Alley; brothers: Wade (Mae), Darrell (Mondella); sisters: Marg, Rose (Malcolm), Audrey (Jerome), Juanita (Dave), Zona (Rick), sister-in-law Sandra (Danny). She also leaves behind numerous loving nieces, nephews and friends.
She was predeceased by her father Cecil Alley, mother-in-law Juanita Gale, brother Daniel; sisters: Mary, Vernice, Kimberly; brother-in-law Jim; and sister-in-law Inez.
Darleen will be remembered for many things including her love of family and friends, love of her girls (the yorkies Sadie, Mia, & Sophie), and love of camping. Her humour and her generous spirit will be felt for years to come.
The family wishes to thank all those who cared for her at the U of A Hospital and also at the Edson Healthcare Centre.
