Connie and family. I am so deeply sorry for your loss. I will always remember our special times in Mrs. Parry’s class and the fun and aventures we had. My best memory of Darcy is when we got to go to the baseball hat factory and we all got red and white hats with our names on them. He was a funny, smart and kind person. My parents Fiona and Jerry also send their deepest condolences. Thinking of you, Bonnie Brown
Thank you Bonnie, those were fun years watching your class with Mrs. Parry. Thank you for your kind words
Connie and family-deepest sympathy. I have just heard your sad news and am shocked. My students tend to remain in my thoughts at the time I last taught them so I remember Darcy as the popular imaginative clever grade sixer that I had the pleasure of teaching for all six grades in the Challenge program making him and.his classmates more like family than students.May you all find comfort in the memories of this extraordinary family member.
Sincere condolences from Ruth Powell (or ‘Mrs. Parry’ as Darcy would have known me as.)
Mrs Parry, thank you for your kind words. I have thought of you so many times over the years. You were very special to Darcy and our family. I often wonder where your students would be today, had you been there for the full twelve years. I also remember you saying “ don’t let Darcy get bored”. He struggled much of his adult life with drugs and alcohol. He was kind and brilliant but made some wrong choices. We miss him terribly. Your years with him were great memories that we will hold onto. Thank you.
Connie and Peter Ewashko

Dear Connie, I’m sorry to hear about your loss. May Darcy’s soul rest in peace.
Hold on to the good memories, they last forever.
Deepest sympathies.
Thank you!
We were so very shocked and saddened to hear of Darcy’s tragic passing. We remember him as that impish little fella with the coolest hair and sweetest smile walking into Mrs Parry’s grade 1 class. What a special, magical time they all shared there for six years; their imaginations and creativity let loose by a master teacher. A time of innocence and curiosity, exploration and independent studies. Rambles in the ravine, poetry, and Shakespeare fed their developing minds and bodies. I can’t imagine your pain – to lose a child, no matter their age, is a parent’s worst nightmare. May you find peace and comfort in memories, although I know you will forever feel the ache of your loss. The service today was beautiful and simple and you could feel all the very many types of love with which Darcy was surrounded.
Thank you for your kind words and for attending the service.
Connie and your entire family- we are so sad that Darcy died. We hope that you find comfort in many happy memories and only time will heal.

We are so sorry to hear of Darcy’s passing!
I remember the camping trip we made together when the kids were all so small and the sun were had. Lee will be sad to hear this news and he loved chatting with Darcy when he was in the store picking up welding supplies.
Keeping you all close in our hearts.
Thank you!
I am so sorry to learn of Darcys passing. My son Cameron just informed me. He played on the same soccer team. My brain is a little foggy of years gone by so forgive me that I don’t remember everything.
I can’t imagine losing a child. I send sincere condolences to Darcys family.
Thank you for your kind words, and for remembering Darcy!
