Bev’s heart was golden and her sense of humour nobody could match..
I will always remember her telling me..after I told her..
That pepper was underused spice and she Thanked me for bringing this to her attention and when we chatted she always reminded me that she was still using the pepper and we would chuckle..I thought I would share that story with you.

Oh I am so so sad and shocked to hear this. Bev was a very kind person. She cared so much about her husband, and brothers and animals. I really enjoyed all of our chats at the library and I am thinking right now of how she bought my son a really lovely book just because she thought he would like it and about how she always wanted to see pictures of my kids. She was just thoughtful like that. I will miss her. My deepest condolences to all of her family and friends.
Dear Michel,
Please accept our deepest condolences on the loss of Beverly. She was a truly lovely person and taken way too soon. Our thoughts are with you.
I’m very sorry to hear this, my condolences to Bev’s family and friends. I enjoyed getting to know Bev when I learned that we lived in the same neighbourhood and took the same bus to work. Bev was such a kind person, she’ll be missed at the UofA Libraries.
I am shocked and saddened to hear of the passing of Bev. As a colleague she was so good-spirited, kind and helpful. I fondly remember setting up a number of Libraries Christmas parties together, stringing lights and setting up the annual photo booth. She made the work that much more enjoyable with her ability to laugh and to motivate others. The year I worked at the Coutts Library it was so nice to see her more often and she was always interested to hear my news and to share hers. My condolences to Bev’s family and friends. She will be missed.
I am so very sorry to hear of Bev’s passing. I worked with her at EPL for years and then at the U of A. She was always kind and funny and I will miss her very much.
Dear Michel
This is terribly sad news. I enjoyed working with Bev when she was part of my MNI group downtown. So strange that I was just reminiscing about past times at EPL and your names came up.
Our thoughts are with you and your whole family.
To Bev’s husband, Michel, and family, please accept my deepest condolences on your loss. I worked with Bev at EPL and always found her to be caring, intelligent, and a joy to be around. She will definitely be missed. Wishing you comfort at this difficult time.
I am so sorry to hear about Bev,we use to work out together and work together, Bev was a fabulous sister to her two brothers , we sang in the choir together for a few months . And we were always talking about getting together. Very sad that we didn’t. Prayers and blessings to all her family. Kathy Owens

This is sad and shocking news. I remember Bev’s kindness when I worked with her in MNI and was in the audience when she performed in a number of plays. My sympathy to all the family.

What shocking news. I have many happy memories of Bev as I too worked with her at EPL. I remember attending a play she performed in. I offer my deepest sympathy to her family. Such a loss in the prime of life.
Michel, my sincerest condolences on your family’s loss… It was an honor to work with Bev, I had the opportunity to work with her on a couple different committees…
So kind, professional, friendly… a truly wonderful person. I am so sad she is gone.
I am shocked and saddened to hear this news of Bev’s passing. I got to know her as a fellow member of the Pulse Generator gym at the University of Alberta Hospital. She was always a kind, friendly person who shared her positive and encouraging vibes with all around her. Will miss our pleasant chats and her always-cheerful attitude.
