Barri “Red” Reiz
It is with profound sadness and shock that we tell you of the sudden passing of Barri Glen Orion Reiz, of Edmonton on Jan. 28 2023.
He is missed by his life Love and Best friend Patricia, his sister Jenni, brother Jay (Sherry), nephews Les (Angie, (grand niece Emilia)), James (Michelle, (grand nephews Carter, Logan and grand niece Autumn)), mother in-law Marion, brothers in-law Mark, Dewey III (Tanya, (niece Anna, nephews Dewey IV and Matt)), sister in-law Sandy and many cousins and friends.
He was predeceased by his Father Orval (1979), Mother Annie (2005), and brother Duane (1947), maternal Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles.
He will be remember for being purehearted, loyal, steadfast, and for his great love for Patricia and not less his family and circle of friends. He had a great interest in motorcycles, classic cars and all sports. He promised to make it to 70 & he did.
In accordance with his wishes there will be a gathering in the summer, details will be confirmed closer to the date.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the Mazankowski Heart Institute at the U of A Hospital.
Dear Patti: So sorry for the loss of Red a good person and you made a wonderful couple. Take care of yourself during this difficult time and look forward to Reds celebration in the summer. Love and prayers. Auntie Sandra and Uncle Bob.
My sincere condolences to Pat, Jenni, Jay and family. Barri will be remembered by many, his contagious laugh, zany antics and his loyalty to his friends. Rest In Peace Red.
