Artur passed away peacefully on May 22, 2024 at the age of 87.

He is survived by his siblings, Jose (Fatima) Monteiro, Julia (Antonio) Cimadeira, Josefina (Antonio) dos Santos, Jaime (Susie) Monteiro, Stephania Monteiro as well as numerous nieces, nephews and many dear friends.

He was predeceased by his parents, Jaime and Virginia Monteiro and his brothers, Anibal Monteiro and Trajano Monteiro.
