On August 4 2018, Alex Diaconescu passed away peacefully at the age of 75.

Alex leaves to mourn: his two children: daughter Cristina Diaconescu, son Danny (Charity) Diaconescu, and his nephew Julius Petriko.

Alex was predeceased by his wife Rodica and brother in law Julius Petriko.
