On January 1, 2014 Mrs. Alda Luzia of Edmonton passed away peacefully at the age of 75 years.

She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband of 25 years, Joao; six children: Tina (Ricardo), Jose (Debbie), Maria Jose (Guilhermo), Antonio-Joao (Ana), Maria Jesus (Antonio) and Manuel; fifteen grandchildren, her great-granddaughter, her brother Carlos Pontifice and her sister Odete Ramalho. She was predeceased by her step-daughter Gina in 2007.
