Alan Thomas Yates
December 7, 1957 - January 15, 2025
It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to Alan Yates, who passed away peacefully January 15, 2025, at the age of 67, to be with his beloved Mary.
Alan was an intelligent, artistic man with a huge heart. He was a veteran, loved reading, hunting and camping. He will be forever remembered by his mom Yvette, his sisters Sharon (Norm), Wendy (Paul), Kathy, Brenda (Norm), his children Lana and Chris, his grandson Josh, numerous nieces, nephews and lifelong friends.
Alan was predeceased by his dad Lee, and grandson TJ.
A Celebration of Life will take place in the Spring of 2025 in Fairview, Alberta.
Thankyou big brother for taking me downtown to see matinee movies, thankyou for showing me how to build snow forts, thankyou for protecting me from the bad boys. I’m so glad you came back into our lives these last few years. Im so glad you got to meet our granddaughter Sophia. You were funny, bullheaded, loved John Wayne and I loved you. Xoxo
