On June 9, 2012 Agostinha deAlmeida of Edmonton passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the age of 83 years.
Left to cherish her memory are her three children: Dora (Isidro) Botelho, Fernando (Joanne) Borges and John (Diane) Borges; five grandchildren: George (Suzette), Raphael, Rachel, John and Michael; two great-grandchildren: Nicholas and Kendra; three sisters: Maria Ines, Judite and Sara (Jaime); one brother Caetano (Pat) as well as numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends. She was predeceased by her husband Fernando; her parents: Caetano and Agostinha; two sisters Olga and Gilda and one brother Isaque.
