Ae Sa Pui
May 16,1984 - March 26,2025
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, Ae Sa Pui, who passed away unexpectedly on 26 March 2025 after a short stay in the University of Alberta Hospital.
He will be greatly missed and remembered by his loving wife of 16 years, Thaw Say, his dear step-children & children – Hai Paw (Eh Kaw), Eh Doh, Grace, Ephraim, Johnry & Manasseh, his beloved grandchildren, Abigail, Jesse, Nathan & Ezra, his siblings, parents and many more family members.
Ae Sa Pui was the oldest of his siblings. He grew up in a Thailand/Burma refugee camp and resettled in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada on 9 September 2007 where he met Thaw Say and the two were happily married in January 2009. Together they raised their 6 children in the love of the Lord.
Ae Sa Pui was a man of very few words and very reserved. He was always filled with so much love, kindness and joy. He touched many hearts and will be forever missed. His spirit will always inspire those who knew him.
A celebration of Ae Sa Pui’s life will be held on Tuesday, 8 April 2025 at 10:00am in Maranatha Christian Reformed Church: 11905 - 47 Street NW, Edm, AB.
This will be followed by the interment at Little Mountain Cemetery: 16025-54 Street NW, Edm, AB.
Grace, Manasseh and Family – we are deeply saddened to hear about the passing of your father. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this very difficult time. I hope you find comfort and strength in the love and memories you shared with him.
Love,
Siena, Dante, Enzo, Chiarina and Brad.
I had the honour of working with Sa Pui and am heartbroken by his untimely passing. He was always a hard working individual, loyal, and kind. May Sa Pui and his family find peace during this difficult time and may the Lord help all of his beautiful children.
