Ronald John Borin
September 27, 1945 - December 12, 2014
On December 12, 2014 Mr. Ron Borin of Edmonton passed away at the age of 69 years.
He is survived by his loving daughter Leslie; his two favourite people, grandchildren Teresa and Luca; his father Carlo (Ida); his brother Terry (Carol); three sisters: Mary (Steve), Laura (Jim) and Manella (Brian) as well as numerous nieces, nephews and many dear friends. He was predeceased by his mother Teresa and his sister Gabriella.

My thoughts and prayers are with Ron’s family at this time. I had the great opportunity to work with your Dad for several years at Fisher Controls. Ron and he & I became great friends and over the years I would call him out of the blue to say hello we would laugh then talk again in a few years each time we spoke is was just like yesterday …
I would also leave a message to tell him how much I loved him.., Your brother, father and grandfather gave us all something very special himself. 🙂 It was a honour to have such a special friend.
Ron, you will be dearly missed but never forgotten. !!

Leslie, Teresa, and Luca… Our very deepest sympathies and condolences. Todd, Brayden, Ethan, and I are deeply saddened and so heart broken that your wonderful dad left us so suddenly. Ron was an awesome dad and a devoted grandpa. He quickly became our friend and he always treated my boys like his own grandchildren. We will forever miss seeing him at the hockey arenas… in “Ron’s Corner”.
My thoughts are with the Borin family tonight. I am very sorry for your terrible loss. Ron and I worked together for over 20 years and I got to know him quite well. He was always larger than life and quite a character. That quick temper offset by his sense of humor and big heart always made me appreciate our friendship. He always talked about Leslie and the grandkids with a twinkle in his eye. May you find some small bit of comfort in knowing that he was loved by the many people who’s lives he touched.
