My Dearest Grandfather:
I Dreaded The Day I Would Have To Write This.
Upon Your Departure You Took A Piece Of Our Hearts With You.
A Small Price To Pay Considering You Have Left Us With So Much;
The Countless Morals && Values You Have Instilled In Us,
What It Means To Love Selflessly && Unconditionally.
You Were The Glue That Held This Family Together,
But You Know We Won’t Fall Apart In Our Time Of Greif;
Because You Are Forever With Is On Our Memories && Heart.
You Legacy Lives On Every Single Moment Of Every Day Because You Made Sure The Foundation Of Our Home Was Strong.
With A Sorrow Heart I Miss You,
I Know You Would Not Want Us To Greive For Eternity–
But Cherish Our Memories && Every Moment You Spent With Us.
So Thank You For Blessing Us With Your Presence
We Proudly Walk With Your Essence, Until We Meet Again.
I Love You Grandpa ❤️
My Grampa,
My grampa taught me anything can be done
That limits are something we set on ourselves, he showed this by taking on anything. Any job any problem any situation, there were no problems
only solutions. He did so with half the language skills some of us contain and for sure half of the fingers most of us have, now that is perseverance. Perseverance to come to this country and achieve so much. He would call all of his children ‘angels” so in a sense Gus walked alongside angels while on this earth. He walks amongst angles now. He loves each and every one of you, and he is looking down proud. Proud of who each and every one of us have become. My man, my best friend, My hero and now my angel. I will never fear knowing my grandpa Gus is watching over me. If I ever need him I can find him. Though prayer, through memories, my Gus is never far. So grandpa I promise to live this life in honour of you until the day we meet again I will take comfort knowing you are with your friends you are home. So when the day comes you will greet me with arms open I will take you’re strong hand I so long to shake. Miss you papa, I love you. Forever your “little angel” your soldier, my hand to god.
Leighann, Dave and I would like to send our condolences and prayers to your extended family. Speaking as a daughter of a man who was strong yet lovingly soft with his daughter I know where your grief will take you. Just know that all the life lessons he taught you will always be with you just as his strong hand will lead you.
Please send love to your mom from us.
Dear Helen
Ray and I were very sorry to hear about Gus. We miss you guys as neighbors.
We miss looking across the street to see Gus tinkering away in the garage. He
always had a wave or call us over for a little B.S. session.
May he rest in peace.
Ray and Willa Adams
