Betty Kril (Christiansen) (Strader)
Betty passed away peacefully in Edmonton on Oct 11, 2020 at the age of 81.
Betty is survived by her son, Darcy (Joanne) Christiansen and daughter, Roxann (George) Nathanail. Also celebrating her life are her grandchildren, Jeff (Samantha), Stuart (Janelle), Amanda (Kris), Danny and Stephanie and her great-grandchildren, Melody, Jasper, Max and Rowan. Betty is also survived by her loving nieces and nephews throughout Alberta and B.C, her brother Tommy, Gail and family in Montana and numerous other family members and friends.
Betty was pre-deceased by her son Marty Christiansen, husband, Dean Christiansen and her second husband Nick Kril, her parents, Bernice Towpich, Earl Strader, and sister Myrna Roggeveen.
Betty supported her kids in numerous sports, driving to and from games around Edmonton and central Alberta. Betty worked in a drapery shop in Westmount and then the United Cigar Store in Bonnie Doon where she retired and did some modest travelling, taking in tractor pulls and rodeos around the Province. She loved her dogs, Mindy and Ben who kept her company in her later years. She was happy to move into Bethel Seniors Apartment where she made many new friends.

No formal service will be planned at this time.
So sorry for your loss. I have many happy memories from high school spending time in your folks house. I always felt included as family. Betty was lucky to have family that loved and supported her. She will be missed. Hugs to all.
