Jayleena Nikkita Love
It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our dearest Jayleena Love on September 16, 2020. Sadly, her cause of death has yet to be determined but appears to be heart-related.
She will be lovingly remembered by her parents Wendy and Chris, her sister Cassie (Brad Mercer) and brothers Chris (Jamie Love) and Darrian (Amy Love). Grandparents Linda and Udo Sauerborn. Her aunties and uncles Susan and Brady Whittaker, Rose and Marc Roszko, Arthur and Tita Sauerborn, Daniel Sauerborn, Gena Jones, Greg Love, Ron and Lisa Love. Also, many great aunties, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends. She was predeceased by her grandma and grandpa Francis and Al Love and her uncle David Sauerborn.
Our Jay was a beautiful, sweet soul and a bright light in many lives. She loved her family and friends immensely and often gave an encouraging word. She loved camping by the river and listening to the water. Of course, she also jumped in the water. She was kind and thoughtful, often baking and decorating cookies and delivering them to her friends. She was artistic, played piano and had a beautiful singing voice. She loved all animals and was happiest when she was holding a puppy. We will miss her kind ways, her bright light, her gorgeous smile, her voice and her giggle.
When you want to feel close to Jayleena listen to a river, bake someone cookies, tell someone that they are enough, or be kind to an animal. We will never stop loving Jayleena. If you have a special picture of Jayleena or a fond memory please share it to uplift us. Thank you for all of your loving support.
A Celebration of Jayleena’s life will be held October 3, 2020 in Canmore. Given current Provincial Health Guidelines personal attendance will be by invitation only. Platform details will be shared so other dear friends and family may participate online.
Jayleena left such an impression on our lives, she was my soulmate and had the biggest purest heart, her existence near or far would calm my soul through any storm knowing she would believe in me, there were no lengths she wouldn’t go to in order to make sure people were treated fairly, felt worthy. She took such care of me when I was sick for days on end that it brought me to tears, which she said she learned from her mom taking care of her. We are so blessed and grateful to have had her light shine on us.
I am so sorry for this unimaginable loss, she will be so missed by so many.
There are no words that can express the pain you are going through. We are sending you love and huge hugs, and hope you are able to find strength during this dark time. Thinking of you and your families with great sadness.
