Donalda Mary Cull (nee Geddes)
Donalda Mary CULL (nee Geddes), 90, of Spruce Grove, Alberta passed away April 16, 2020 after a brief illness.
Donalda was born in Edmonton, Alberta, July 28, 1929, to Christina and John Geddes. Her life was characterized by a quick mind, a love of family, optimism, and a fierce streak of independent thinking. Donalda married Brenton Evans Cull July 11, 1952 and eventually settled in Hinton until both retired and moved to Spruce Grove.
She is survived by her son Alastair, and her stepchildren Patricia (John) Nichols, and Gordon (Edna) Cull and her elder sister Beatrice (Joseph) Banks. Donalda was predeceased by her husband Brenton (1997), and son Stuart (2015). She loved both her own children and Patricia and Gordon from Brenton’s first family. While the family was far flung around the globe, she loved all her grandchildren and great grandchildren alike.

She was a wonderful lady and will be missed. I have great memories of my aunt over the years with cousins Alastair and Stu. Thanks to Katie for being with her at the end. Rest in peace Auntie Donnie.
I have fond memories of Aunt Donnie. We had numerous family get togethers over the years. When my husband Roman, and our girls Shaunda and Michelle and I moved away to BC I always made sure to stop in and say Hi when I was came back to Alberta.
Fiesty is a good word to describe Aunt Donnie; she always had a big smile and never held back her thoughts. She was very refreshing.
A big thank you to Katie for being there for her in her final days. You’re a trooper! Perhaps we will meet one day .

I have always enjoyed my visits with Aunt Donnie. She was fun to be around and she loved her Blue Jays and Edmonton Oilers. We shared the love of sports and had lots of great conversations around sports. She had an amazing laugh and always a gleam in her eyes. I will miss her very much.Garry and I really enjoyed our time together and will treasure all the memories. We are so thankful that Katie was there with her. Thank you Katie.
