  1. I will truly miss my friend of over 48 years who was like a brother to me. I will keep him in my thoughts and prayers for the rest of my life.

  2. My sincere condolences to Ryan and Scott (Kelsey).
    My thoughts are with you.
    Take care.

  3. Ross was my precious, treasured friend. How wonderful to have such a trusted man for a platonic friend. I’ve been a widow many years and he helped me get used to going to the senior center [which changed my life and put me around people] and was always there when I needed him and politely taught me things until I got it ‘-)

Ross was so inspirational, he should have given speeches so we could learn more about what he had done on his journey through life. As it was, I copied the news story he was in years ago and showed it to everyone I knew. He was an example of what we SHOULD do when he have a debilitating illness like the Ataxia he was diagnosed with around 25 years ago. He said it took him a couple of years but then he got busy and started dong Tai Chi and exercises even when it was a very long time to see any results. What a testimony! I wish he had been around a lot longer because just knowing him, he was an example to help others learn to maximize their lives and health, no matter how sweet and humble he was.

I was in a brain-injured art class and used his story to help teach others about working hard and fighting back no matter what life deals you because that is all you can do. I will continue to use Ross as an example of courage and tenacity.

Thank you Ryan for calling me to tell me he was in the hospital, he was so proud of you. I only got to be his friend for 1-1/2 years but I’m grateful for the time I had with him, he was a godsend. Ross was a miracle and my hero.
