Eugene has been reunited with is beloved wife, Clara, for eternity.
Their hearts and love will go on in all of us.
He will always be remembered as a beloved husband, dad and papa to his grandchildren. Dad was a brave maverick with an indomitable spirit, who along with my Mom, immigrated to Canada from Hungary in 1956 during the Hungarian Revolution and lived his dream by starting up two of his own businesses. He was a kind-hearted, generous, loving man who had his grandkids convinced was part wizard as he magically made $20 bills appear from behind their ears. Dad enjoyed life and his family. He had a passion for fishing, boxing and hockey – a devout fan of the Edmonton Oilers. There was nothing he enjoyed more than a pleasurable conversation with a nice glass of red wine and a favorite cigar. He was pure funny, and could make you laugh until tears. Right now our tears are of sadness. God bless you Dad on your infinite way. You were so loved, lived so full and now are flying with the angels. I promise to give a tug to the kids’ ears until we see each other again. Love you forever. ❤️
