Marvin Rudy Dakus
It is with great sadness that the family of Marvin Dakus announce his passing at age 78.
Marvin is survived by his Son Kelly (Karen) and his Daughter Susan, grandchildren Sydney D'aoust and Auzzi Tremblay. His brothers Jack, Paul, Rod and sister Kerryl as well as many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. He is predeceased by his Wife Barbara, Father Peter Dakus and his Mother Anne Dakus.
Celebration of Life
A celebration of life will be announced in the coming days.
Memorial Donations
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Alberta Blood Services.
Service will be held at The Strathcona Community Centre on Friday March 13 between 2:30 pm and 4:30 pm in south Edmonton. This will be an open house style service with no formal itinerary and a light lunch.

Marv was our landlord at Ridgewood Gardens Apartments back in 2004, and he always very friendly and helpful. He always treated tenants like friends, he even helped my darling little wife up to our 2nd floor apartment when we came home from Grey Nuns Hospital with our new baby girl. He and I actually carried my wife up 4 flights of stairs in her wheelchair. I’ve never forgotten that.
