Laurette Desaulniers
It is with deep sorrow that the family of Laurette Desaulniers announce her passing on October 26th in Edmonton at the age of 90. She is survived by her three children Diane Peppinck (Keith), Lorraine Kaip (Ron) and Louise Desaulniers. She also leaves to mourn her brother Ernest Daigle (Cecile), her sister Therese Lacombe, and five Grandchildren - Daniel (Lauren), Curtis (Maura), and Brad Peppinck, Tanner and Sarah Olsen, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Laurette was predeceased by her husband Germain on January 2nd, 1994, as well as her parents, Arthur and Cora Daigle, one brother Norman Daigle, and her sisters Rita Levasseur and Brunette Joly.
A complete mass will be held Nov. 1st, 2019 at 1pm St. Joachim Catholic Church, 9928 110 St NW Edmonton, lunch to follow at Salon Pere Lacombe. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
Interment to follow St Paul cemetery summer 2020.
Laurette’s family was the most important thing to her as well as making memories at the cabin. She loved boating, fishing, sitting by the fire at the cabin, roasting hot dogs, crocheting and baking chocolate chip cookies for her grandkids.
She will be sadly missed by many.
