Christina “Chris” Cederland

With great sadness we announce that Christina “Chris” Cederland was taken by the angels to the loving arms of Jesus on September 7, 2019.  A proud and dedicated wife, mother and grandmother and loyal friend, Christina will be greatly missed.

The home was her favourite place: a place for family and friends to gather any time, especially during Christmas and Easter.  There are many wonderful memories of her cooking and baking and teaching her recipes, most notably her rice pudding.  She loved to spend time with her daughter and grandson, sharing adventures and special moments.

Christina did everything with unconditional love in her heart, finding joy in so much.  Gardening allowed her passion for nature grow into an appreciation for environmental preservation and a love of animals of all kinds…except pigeons (haha). She had an adventurous spirit and loved going with family to the mountains, concerts and plays, and she loved learning about English and Egyptian history and archaeology.
