Joan Marie Haining (nee Withers)

On March 17, 2019, Joan Marie Haining (nee Withers) passed away peacefully at the age of 71.

Joan will be lovingly remembered by Colin, her husband of 53 years, children Carol (Fabian) Gillis, Neal (Tracey) and Crystal, grandchildren Courtney, Regan and Logan, sister Donna Cave, 5 nieces and their families as well as her 4-legged pride and joy, Roxy and Cara.

A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and faithful friend, the world has lost a sweet and gentle soul.

At Joan’s request, cremation has taken place and a private family gathering will be held at a later date.

As Joan contributed to many causes, donations may be made in her name to the Cross Cancer Institute, 11560 University Avenue, Edmonton or to the Edmonton Humane Society, 13620 163 Street.
