Christina Brown
Christina Brown of Edmonton, formerly of Elk Point and originally from Kenora Ontario, passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 1, 2019, at the age of 90 years.
Christina is survived by her loving family Sherry Petruk, Derek, Matthew (Krysta), Gregory, Michael (Candace), Kimberley (Charlie), Glen Brown, Neil and Nancy Brown, Taylor (Kayla), Alex, Connie Bigam, Corey Patterson, and Nolan Bigam and sister-in-laws Eleanor and Annette McDonald of Kenora, Ontario.
Christina was predeceased by her husband Edward Brown, son Gary Brown and son-in-laws Malcolm Bigam and Larry Petruk. She was also predeceased by her parents Emma Caroline and William Lawson McDonald, siblings Marjorie, Delbert, Donald, Allan, Edna and Evelyn, sister-in-law Alice and brother-in-laws Henry LaJeunesse and Harry Paul.
A small family memorial will be held at Extendicare Eaux Claire Nursing Home on March 9, 2019. On May 25 at 2 pm a Full Celebration of her Life for family and friends will be held at Lac Bellevue Hall with Pastor Kelly Sibley officiating; followed by interment at St. Michaels Cemetery on highway 881.
In her loving memory, charitable donations may be made to Haying in the 30’s Cancer Support Society, Box 35, Mallaig, Alberta T0A 2K0.

I am sorry to hear of your loss,Glen & family, Christina has a very sweet gentle soul because she was willing to communicate to her deaf son by using her fingers/hands/gestures (sign language) that was very impressive to see this.

I’m deeply sorry about loving loss. Christina was loving mom. She was the best vegetable and fruit canning and making many beautiful knitted gloves, and others. My condolences are with her family. She is in my heart always. ??
