Gordon Clifford Hearn
We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Gordon Clifford Hearn on April 3, 2025.
A devoted Husband, Father, and Grandfather, Gordon's life was a testament to his unwavering dedication, generosity, and love for those around him. He was a man of integrity, humour, steadfast values, and always had a wry smile. Gordon spent his years building a life filled with love, adventure, and family.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Joanne; his daughter Amy; his sons Patrick (Lisa) and Jason (Amanda). Gordon took immense pride in their accomplishments and the people they have become. He was the proudest grandfather to Nick, Meghan, Matthew, Logan, Emma, and Greyson. Watching his grandchildren grow and thrive brought him unparalleled joy; he loved them all to the moon and back. Gordon is also survived by his siblings Henry (Marlaine, decd), David (Marlene), Brian (Margaret) and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, Cecil and Amy. Gordon's heart was fullest when surrounded by family and friends, who will miss him dearly.
Gordon had a passion for photography and cherished the connections he made through this hobby. He also loved his work in accounting and valued his small business clients, who became like family to him. Gordon worked up until a year before his passing, creating memories that will last a lifetime. His years of volunteering demonstrated his commitment to giving back, and he was a lifetime member of the YMCA, an affiliation that truly defined him.
In keeping with Gordon's wishes, a celebration of life will be held on May 17, 2025, from 1:00 - 4:00 pm at the Cloverdale Community League Hall, 9411 97 Ave, NW, Edmonton, AB.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to capitolcarefoundation.net for the Norwood Centre.
