It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved father, husband, brother, son, and friend, Robert ‘Bob’ Husereau, on March 26th , 2025.  Bob was born on September 12th , 1966, and grew up in both Beaumont and Edmonton, Alberta.  He is survived by his wife, Kristine; children, Brandon and Natalie; brother, John; parents, Paul (Janette) and JoAnne; as well as many other cousins, uncles, aunts, and friends.

Bob was regarded as one of the most successful and skilled office tower operations managers in Edmonton, garnering numerous awards and accolades for his achievements.  He was revered by his team of coworkers, as a colleague from work described: “Bob was the man, he improved and fixed everything possible.  He excelled at everything he did.  His technical aptitude and ability in his area was one of the strongest the company had ever seen.”  No job was too big or complex for Bob.

He was an avid sports fan, following the Toronto Blue Jays, Edmonton Elks, and Edmonton Oilers through thick and thin.  He loved playing golf with his friends, but he loved bonding over his hobbies with family the most.  He had a passion for singing and loved to sing songs by Kiss, Eagles, and Pink Floyd.  Bob loved going scuba diving and always enjoyed going on trips to the Caribbean with his soulmate Kristine; she affectionately referred to him as “Hercules” because of how big and strong he was.  Whenever he could, Bob loved going to the gym; he would often say that “physical exercise is the best drug”, and he taught his daughter and son the benefits of leading a healthy life.

Bob was an amazing role model and mentor.  He was looked up to by many and could unify any group through his amazing sense of humour.  He brought people together, no matter who they were or where they were from, and for these reasons and many more, he will forever be missed.

  1. So many great memories of a great friend and teammate! His laughter always filled the room and when in need he was always there. While I hadn’t spent much time with him over the past few years, we did talk on the phone and he was so proud of his children and wanted the best for them in their lifetime! Always thinking of others as he was a true “Tower Of Power!”.
While you may be gone my friend — You will NEVER be forgotten as our memories will last forever!
    Rest In Peace!

He was such a huge part of our industry and his respect for the women in our field was unmatched. He believed in respecting everyone and it showed in how respected he was. Bob will be greatly missed.
