April 4, 2025 1 Condolence Print Obituary Send Flowers

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother, Gloria, on March 28, 2025.

Born on Easter Sunday, April 9, 1950, Gloria's life was a testament to love and resilience. Predeceased by her cherished husband, Morley (Lee) Brady, she leaves behind her son Dean, daughter Winona, sisters Virginia, Christie, and Mabel, along with numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. She is also predeceased by siblings Patricia, Paul, Leona, Kathy, Charlie, and David.

Gloria had a heart larger than life. She found the good in everyone and made many friends during her frequent travels on the transit system, visiting malls for coffee, and participating in various programs such as Networks, a brain injury society where she spent much time doing one of her passions, crafts.

An avid Edmonton Oilers fan, Gloria's cheers echoed through the room whenever her team scored, her fingers crossed from start to finish, all while wearing her Oilers jersey - a symbol of her unwavering support. Summers were spent in the company of her Toronto Blue Jays, her favorite players bringing her endless delight.

Her devotion to family was fierce and protective. Our Momma Bear, she shielded her cubs with unwavering strength. Gloria was our rock, our guiding star.

We extend our deepest gratitude to the Devonshire Seniors Community for their compassionate care during Gloria's final year. Devonshire truly became a second family to her.

In accordance with Gloria's wishes, she will be laid to rest beside her husband in a private family ceremony.
