Barry Richard (Rick) Walden

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce our beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 26, 2018, with his daughter by his side.

He will be greatly missed by his daughters Tina, Roxzanne and Karran (Sid), his grandchildren Shane, Melissa (Morgan), Tom (Amber), Kessie (Jenae), and his great-grandchildren Nevaeh, Kiera and Kai.

Rick was predeceased by his father Ronald and mother Ivy, son-in-law Bob.  We would like to extend our thanks to Melissa Shaw, care companion, all the doctors, nurses and healthcare aids at St. Michael’s Long Term Care Centre, for the care they gave our father.  Also cherishing Rick’s memory are brother-in law Bob (Sheila), sister-in laws Edie, Joan, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

A Memorial Service and tribute to Rick’s life will take place at St. Luke’s Anglican Church, 8424 – 95 Ave., Edmonton, on Saturday, January 5, 2019 from 2 – 4 p.m.
