Rita Plamondon

It is with great sadness the family of Rita Melinda Plamondon, formerly of Plamondon, Alberta announce her passing on September 19, 2024 at the age of 96 years.

Rita is survived by her daughter Janice Letourneau of Plamondon; special godson Joe (Pauline) Gauthier of Ft. McMurray; daughter in law Diane Plamondon (Denis Ulliac) of Atmore; grandchildren Myron (Trisha) Letourneau of Plamondon, Marlee Letourneau (Eric Martin) of Edmonton, Mary-Ann Letourneau of Biddeford, Maine, USA, Adri Plamondon of Ft. McMurray, Jenna Plamondon of Ft. McMurray, Naomi Plamondon of Athabasca, Roy Jr. Plamondon (Jenna Pedersen) of Athabasca; great-grandchildren Hennesey Letourneau (Ethan Harnett) of Ft. McMurray, Easton Letourneau of Plamondon, Harley and Jackson Laking of Ft. McMurray, Asher Swyers of Ft. McMurray; sister Jeanette Plamondon of Edmonton; sisters in law Aline Plamondon of Edmonton and Therese Plamondon of Fruitvale, B.C.

Rita is predeceased by her husband Roy Plamondon in 2010, son Oscar Plamondon in 2007, son in law Allan Letourneau in 2012, parents Joseph & Genevieve (Gauthier) Gagnon, an infant brother, brother Oscar, and sisters Lucia Duperron and Josephine Plamondon.

Urn Bearers: Myron Letourneau and Roy Jr. Plamondon.

Honorary Pallbearers: Marlee Letourneau, Mary-Ann Letourneau, Adri Plamondon, Jenna Plamondon, Nicole Bush, Rachelle Vanvliet.
