William (Bill) King Young

It is with deep sadness the family of William (Bill) King Young announce his passing.

Bill was born on July 20, 1949, in Edmonton, AB. He was predeceased by his father James
and his mother Helen. Bill will be lovingly remembered by his sons Corey (TiMany) Young
and Tavis (Roberta) Young; granddaughters Demi (Colton) Mahan and Linden Young; great
granddaughter Lowen Mahan; brothers Rick (Linda) Wallis, James (Arlene) Young, Derek
(Sabine) Young, and Robert (Joyce) Young; sisters Judy (Barrie) McLean and Patty Savoie;
numerous nieces and nephews; and former wife Felice and her family.

Bill lived a full and rich life up until a motor vehicle accident in the early 1980s left him with
chronic pain and deteriorating health problems, including eventual challenges with mental
health.

We want to remember Bill as an inspirational father who loved his family. His ability to
engage with children, teaching and spending time outdoors, will forever be his legacy in the
hearts and minds of those who knew him best.

His passion for his faith was with him until the end of his life.

A memorial service will be held on July 1, 2024, 3:00 pm at the Kingdom Hall, 27317B TWP
