Gerald (Jerry) Francis Leibel, aged 73, passed away on November 15, 2023, after a courageous battle with cancer, specifically leukemia. Born on June 16, 1950, Jerry lived a fulfilling life characterized by dedication, love, and success.
As the esteemed owner of Leibel Insurance Group for an impressive 43 years, Jerry established himself as a prominent figure within the industry, known for his unwavering commitment to his profession and his clients.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Jerry cherished his family dearly. He is survived by his loving wife, Doris Leibel, whose unwavering support was a pillar in Jerry's life. He also leaves behind a legacy carried on by his sons, Steve and Chad Leibel, and his daughter, Candice Christie, who will continue to embody his values and spirit.
In his leisure time, Jerry found solace in his passions for golf, fishing, and the serene beauty of the lake. These hobbies brought him immeasurable joy and relaxation, serving as cherished moments of respite from his bustling professional life.
A celebration of Jerry's remarkable life will be held on January 12, 2024 at Leibel Insurance Group Edmonton office, located at suite 102, 17415 102 avenue NW, Edmonton to honor his memory and pay tribute to the impact he made on the lives of those around him. We met Jerry in 1988 and although haven’t seen each other often he has never been far from our thoughts. He made each time we got together so special. Loved his mischievous smile and his big heart.
