Gunter Horst Rux
Gunter was born in Winnipeg, MB to his loving parents Ursula and Gunter Rux Sr. Shortly after completing high school, he decided to move to Edmonton, AB to live the Alberta dream and begin a new chapter in his life. Throughout the years, he became a family man and his dreams became a reality. Over time, life threw some challenges his way however he still remained positive and his strength overcame these hurdles. Gunter continued to make people laugh with his unique brand of humor, a joyful attitude, always with a smile on his face.
He is predeceased by his father Gunter Sr. and Mother Ursula.
He will be dearly missed by his children Stewart and Chelsea, granddaughter Lilian, sister Angela(Randy), Nephew/Niece Eric (Hayley), his best friend whom was like a brother Warren (Christina)(Brandon)(Samantha), and many friends.
Your passing has left a void in the hearts of so many who loved you. May you rest in peace.
A Celebration of Life for Gunter will be held in the near future. A date has not been determined at this time.
Our family misses you so much. The memories throughout many years will last forever my brother. My life would not be what it is if wasn’t for you. Hope you are at peace and looking over us all.
