Claudette Theresa Carroll
Claudette Carroll (C.B. Streeter) our cherished mother, nana, sister, daughter, aunt and friend left this world on October 28, 2023, at age 71 after a battle with cancer.
Claudette was predeceased by her father, Romeo Bourassa, brothers-in-law Reginald Drevant and Neil Streeter, husband Garry and left to grieve by her son, Kris (Janelle), daughter Lynn (Daniel); first husband, Blair Streeter (Bette) and grandchildren Jaiyda, Paige, Tatum and Morgan. She was also loving daughter to Alyce, sister to Connie, brothers Laurier (Jan) and Denis (Cheryl); in-laws Glen (Michelle), Nola (Brian), Jan and numerous nieces, nephews, and family members all of whom she adored and loved very much, including the entire Carroll family.
Claudette was a free spirit that loved having a good time with her family. She was kind and selfless, the first to help if she could and had a way of making just about anyone feel special. She was incredibly talented with everything from sewing and knitting to painting and gardening. She inspired so many with her hardworking ways and loving heart. She loved cruising around in her convertible blasting her tunes, (especially with her grandkids) and of course watching her beloved Blue Jays.
A casual celebration is being planned in Red Deer at 1pm on November 11, 2023, at Gaetz Memorial United Church (4758 50 Street) followed by Tea, Coffee, appys and a cash bar at Tiffany’s Steakhouse in their Private room (3515 Gaetz Ave, Red Deer)
In lieu of flowers or gifts, please donate to The Roozen Family Hospice Centre part of the Pilgrims Hospice Society in Edmonton where she was loved and cared for in her final days.
Our hearts have been so very heavy since learning that C.B. crossed over. Someone so full of life and fun and vitality should not have had to leave this earth so soon. We met C.B and her husband Blair when our husbands worked together for Moduline in Penticton, B.C. As a young couple just starting out our lives, we modeled our home, social lives and future child raising after them. C.B made it all seem so effortless…run a home, raise a garden, raise kids, sew everything for the home and wardrobe…but most of all we loved her laugh and twinkling blue eyes. That girl could do anything she set her mind to and she came back fighting from all of life’s hardships with grace. Rest in peace our beautiful lady.
My sincere condolences to the family❤️
