Elli Fries
June 4, 1942 - September 23, 2023
On Saturday September 23, 2023 Elli Fries of Edmonton passed away at the age of 81 years.
Elli will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Heidi (Paul) Pereira and son Paul (Estelie) Fries; two grandchildren: Janelle (Paul) Budinski and Samuel Fries; three siblings: Arnold Dey, Frieda Buchner, and Hilda Lenz; as well other relatives and friends.
She was predeceased by her parents Adolf and Alwina, her husband Waldemar and a sister Ruth Biberdorf.

I am deeply grieving with you at this time as I have a lost a dear friend in Elli. However, she was strong to the end because of her faith in Jesus.
Hopefully knowing this and that many share your sorrow and are praying for you, will be a small comfort to you at this time of loss.

Beloved sister, forever loved and forever missed.
We are all the better for having known and loved our dear sweet Tante Elli. Her kindness, laughter and smiles warmed our hearts and she will forever be missed.

Tante Elli brought so much joy, compassion and kindness to us all and I will forever remind my children about our favourite Tante. She always had a sparkle in her eye, a story to cheer you up and love to share. Her patience with me on the vacation trips we took was endless and I’m sure tested even her never ending supply of calm and love for a niece! Tante Elli will be talked about so my children will know of her and she will always be remembered with smiles.
Dear Paul, Heidi, and family,
I am deeply saddened to hear about the loss of your beloved mother, Elli. Although I had the privilege of meeting her only once, her warmth and kindness were evident, and it’s clear that she was a remarkable person.
During this challenging time, my thoughts are with you and your family. I hope that the fond memories you shared with Elli bring you comfort and peace.
